Welcome to my online gallery. I am a relatively experienced amateur photographer, and hope that you will enjoy my images. My goal with photography is to capture a place, as I see it, in the most accurate way possible. Though, I don't tend to seek out photos - I tend to seek out places. Most of the places that you'll see in my galleries are not typically found on postcards in tourist shops, and I have good reason for that.
When you're viewing my images, try to imagine a housing development or a highway blasting through one of them, and ask yourself if the image would have the same impact and value. As the saying goes, 'take only photographs, leave only footprints' - though I'll take motorized dirt trail over asphalt or concrete, any day.
This is a representative sample of the kind of photographs I take. Anyone can take a snapshot; what I try to create are moments in time, captured at the split second that reveals the inner character of the subject. I strive to have every one of my photographs capture a one-of-a-kind moment that you can treasure forever.
